Hello from your friends at NuWu! Things have been crazy in Las Vegas these past few weeks with the shut down of our beautiful city, but we’ve been happy to keep on keeping on. As many of you already know, all dispensaries in Las Vegas have been forced to close their doors per government directive regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. This has caused a tremendous bottleneck for Las Vegas cannabis users, as the only option available at this point in time is home delivery….except for us!
Both NuWu and NuWu North are home to Nevada’s only marijuana Drive-thru’s. Both are currently open 24 hours to accommodate the local market, and boy has it been busy. With local dispensaries struggling to launch and keep up with the demand for home delivery, we’ve been happy to continue offering the quickest way for locals to secure their favorite cannabis products.
NuWu Cannabis Marketplace is located just North of the Las Vegas Strip, & 2 blocks from The Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. NuWu Cannabis is home of Las Vegas’ only legal consumption room and 24 hour Drive Thru.
ARE YOU STILL OPEN?
In response to COVID-19, we have closed the showrooms at both locations per government directive. We are however happy to continue offering our 24 hour drive thru services.
HOW DOES THE DRIVE THRU WORK?
Simply drive up! We currently have staff directing traffic and will get you in line ASAP. We encourage the use of our ONLINE ORDERING platform to expedite service and minimize contact. However, if that doesn’t work for you we have attendants accepting orders and payment. Once this step is completed, you wait in line until you can receive your order through our drive thru window.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT/DEBIT PAYMENT?
As a cannabis company, we are CASH ONLY.
HOW LONG ARE WAIT TIMES?
Contingent on traffic, we’ve been seeing wait times range from 30-90 mins at Main Street and 30-60 mins at NuWu North. We strive to keep the wait as minimal as possible.
IS THERE A MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIRED?
None at all. If you want to drive thru for a $8 preroll, be our guest!
I SAW A SPECIAL ONLINE, HOW DO I PLACE THAT ON MY ONLINE ORDER?
Let’s use our B3G1 for a penny promo as an example. I want to do B3G1 select cartridges, so I would build my shopping cart with the three Select strains I’m purchasing and submit the order. Upon cashing out I’d be sure to remind my teller of my B3G1 promo where they would then add a penny promotional cartridge to my ticket.
CAN I WALK THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU?
At this time we are not allowing customers to walk through our drive thru line. With the heavy traffic and social distancing in mind, walking thru our drive thru line is simply a huge safety concern. We understand there are many locals without vehicles, but you can always order DELIVERY!
AM I ALLOWED TO USE THE DRIVE THRU WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR?
All vehicle occupants must be 21 years of are or older with valid ID in order to use our drive thru. No exceptions.
I DROVE THRU AND CAUGHT A MISTAKE AFTER I GOT HOME, WHAT CAN I DO?
We strongly encourage all of our customers to double-check their order before leaving as we have staff onsite to help in these types of situations. But if this is not the case please understand there is little we can do once you’ve left the property with product in hand. All contamination factors aside, we have always held to a strict ALL SALES ARE FINAL policy at NuWu. We are also very busy helping thousands of customers get through our drive-thru line quickly and safely, so please: help us, help you stay high.
